How to Apply Your Press-On Nails

Clean,Trim & Buff Nails

Remove any old nail products before applying and ensure your nails are free of oils and dirt. Trim you natural nails to a length that fits comfortably under the press-on nails. File the edges to ensure smoothness.

Cuticle Pusher

Use the cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles for a clean application area. OPTIONAL: Use a cuticle trimmer to trim excess cuticles and hangnails around the nails.

Alcohol Pad

Wipe your nails with the provided alcohol pad.

Size

Choose the press-on nails that best fit each of your natural nails, with our custom sets this is super easy. If necessary, file the sides of the press-on nails for a perfect fit.

Applying with Jelly Tabs

Align the press-on nail with your cuticle, placing it as close to the cuticle as possible without overlapping it. Stick the pad onto your natural nail, then peel off the backing to expose the adhesive then press the nail down onto your natural nail & hold for 60 seconds for a secure bond. PRO TIP: Heat up the tabs with a hair dryer for extra stick.

Applying with Nail Glue

Align the press-on nail with your cuticle, placing it as close to the cuticle as possible without overlapping it. Apply a layer of nail glue to both your natural nail and the underside of the press-on nail. Press down firmly on the nail, starting from the cuticle and working towards the tip to avoid air bubbles. Hold for 60 seconds to ensure the glue or adhesive pad bonds properly.

Clean Up and you're all done!

File and shape the press-on nails as desired to achieve your preferred look and apply cuticle oil. Avoid getting your nails wet for at least an hour to allow the glue to fully set.

How to Remove Your Press-On Nails

Soften the edges

Apply a little cuticle oil around the base of each nail. Then, take your wooden stick and gently begin to lift around the edge. There’s no rush β€” slow and steady wins here.

Soak & relax

Fill a bowl with warm water, a drop of washing-up liquid, and some oil. Pop your hands in and soak for 10–15 minutes. This step is all about patience β€” let the magic happen.

Lift with care

Once your nails have soaked, use your wooden stick again to gently ease off each nail. If any are still holding on, that’s totally normal β€” just pop them back in for another 10-minute soak.

Tidy up

Use your buffing block to smooth away any leftover glue on your natural nails. Be gentle β€” your nail beds will thank you.
